Over the last few years, the Billboard Music Awards have kind of become a bit of a big thing, and this year was no exception. With all the celebrities coming out in force, not just from music to see the winners and the losers. However, it's not the awards we are going to be looking at, it's the red carpet fashion!
Did Katy Perry pull it off? Did Bieber look full of 'swag? And which famous faces from the past made a surprise come back on the red carpet?
BIGGEST WINNER: Katy Perry looked stunning in this metallic lilac mermaid dress! Coupled with her dark purple hair and dark makeup, this is a return to the Katy Perry we know and love after her recent troubles (and strange colour changing hair).
Miley, is that you? Wow, what a transformation. Miley stepped out onto the red carpet wearing nothing but a white suit jacket, and she looked stunning. Talk about retro! This girl looks straight out of the 60s.
Somone should have told Bieber this was an awards show. Justin stepped out onto the red carpet wearing his usual dunks and a hoody look. I'm getting slightly bored of seeing him looking like this (and his millions of copy cats).
Taylor looks absolutely stunning in this red dress! I love the strappy lace top, then the flowing bottom. It made her look 7 feet tall and beautifully in proportion. Plus, this girl knows how to rock a full fringe.
Our second 60s look of the night comes from actress Zooey Deschanel. Hmm, I'm not convinced about this look. It's very pretty and petite, which is what Zooey does best, but is it really award show glamour?
BIGGEST LOSER: Natasha Bedingfield, is that you? It's nice to see you and all, but what the hell are you wearing? This dress is just a fashion disaster. There's far too much going on, and it looks like it is drowning her and weighing her down.
Looks like she had two ugly dresses up her sleeve. After changing into another dress, she still doesn't look any better. Another drowning heavy looking dress. It's like she's trying to channel Angelina's recent leg drama, but she's doing it completely wrong.
Pretty sure the LMFAO guys only have these outfits...
Usher traded in his serious and black wardrobe for this electric blue suit! He looks like a beach boy from this 60s, but y'know what...I strangely like this. Watch this space, coloured suits are making a comeback.
Oh look! It's Alica Keys! Another person I haven't seen in a while. Alica is rocking this all over dress. Wrists, neck and ankles all hidden, but this black number frames her curvy figure perfectly. I'm not too keen on the hair though.
Oh dear Nelly...if this is how you are styling your comeback, I'd sack your stylist. The singer looks swamped and frumpy in this 1920s inspired cocktail dress. There's far too much beading, it's badly fitted, and what the hell is with those earrings? Plus to top it off, she's wearing a chocker necklace, which is the icing on the cake to this busy beaded mess.
