TRENDS: FORGET FLORAL, SPRING IS ALL ABOUT AQUATICS.

You can all forget about floral this Spring, because the runways of late are showing a new trend. It seems as if the designers have spoken, and aquatic prints are going to be a big thing in Spring/Summer 2012. From Alexander McQueen to Carolina Herrera have all been boasting tropical water-life inspired prints and cuts for their new collections, so you just know this is going to trickle down into the high-street (Trickle...water, do you get it? It's not very funny).

Check out the stunning runway images after the jump to see Jelly Fish dresses and frog shirts.

This season, it all about bold prints, sharp lines, high necks and silky textures. Prints took off in 2011, and Spring 2012 is going to see them flourish, and personally, I love this Aquatic route.

It's fun, it's brassy and it's very statement. Prints are a great way to make a look, and you can get them in so many different varieties, so give them a try this season.
